Product 7/11
Product Name: Remembrance Bowl - Medium
Model Number: LP034
Size: Approx. 10" across
Description: Designed by Maggie Weldon and featured in Southern Living Magazine, the exquisite Remembrance Dish is created using soft slabs of porcelain clay that are imprinted with crochet lace. Crochet doilies and fabrics are created using a crochet hook and yarn or thread. Thread is typically used for more delicate lacy fabrics. The word "crochet" comes from the French word "crochet", which means hook. Crocheting is similar to knitting. It consists of pulling loops of thread or yarn through other loops. The main difference between knitting and crochet is the use of a single hook in crochet and a pair of needles in knitting. The Remembrance bowl captures a lasting impression of the lace maker’s soul.General Info: All Lace Pottery by Maggie Weldon, is made by hand in our North Carolina Studio located in Kernersville, NC.
